#17WR Zachariah Branch OutHamstring
Estimated return Nov 15 Updated

Coach Kevin Stefanski noted Monday that Branch (hamstring) won't play Sunday against the Bengals, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

The same applies to LB Samson Ebukam, with Josh Kendall of The Athletic relaying via Stefanski that either or both of the injured players could face multi-game absences. Through eight games thus far, Branch has caught 10 of his 12 targets for 64 yards. In the 2026 third-rounder's looming absence, Drake London, Jahan Dotson and Olamide Zaccheaus will continue to lead Atlanta's WR corps, with Chris Blair in reserve.

#0LB Divine Deablo QuestionableForearm
Updated

Deablo (forearm) was considered to be a limited participant at the Falcons' walkthrough practice Wednesday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official website reports.

Deablo has missed back-to-back games while nursing a forearm injury that he suffered in Week 6 against Chicago. The linebacker's ability to be limited Wednesday is a step in the right direction, but he will have two more opportunities to log a full practice and move past the forearm issue before Sunday's contest versus the Bengals.

#15RB Brian Robinson Jr. QuestionableHamstring
Updated

The Falcons listed Robinson (hamstring) as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.

After landing in Spain early Wednesday in advance of Sunday's game versus the Bengals in Madrid, the Falcons opted to hold a walkthrough rather than a traditional practice. Robinson was able to do enough to garner a limited listing on the injury report, marking the first time since Week 7 that he's gone down as anything other than a non-participant in practice. If Robinson can get back to full activity Thursday or Friday, he'll put himself on track to be available as the top complement to lead back Bijan Robinson on Sunday.

#22LB Yasir Abdullah IRHamstring
Estimated return Nov 8 Updated

Abdullah (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

The Falcons designated Abdullah for return to practice from their injured reserve list Tuesday, and he was able to actually get back on the practice field Wednesday, albeit in a limited capacity. He's eligible to be activated ahead of Sunday's game versus the Bengals, but he'll likely need to manage a full practice Thursday or Friday to have a realistic chance to suit up in Week 9.

#52DE Samson Ebukam IRHamstring
Estimated return Dec 13 Updated

Ebukam (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve by the Falcons on Tuesday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official website reports.

Ebukam suffered a hamstring injury in Week 9 versus the Buccaneers, and he will now be forced to miss at least four contests as a result of the injury. In his absence, Za'Darius Smith is a top candidate to operate in a more prominent role at outside linebacker.

#73OL Cameron Williams IRAnkle
Estimated return Nov 8 Updated

Williams (ankle) will remain on injured reserve and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Tori McElhany of the Falcons' official site reports.

Williams has been sidelined the entire regular season due to an ankle injury that he picked up in early September. He logged a trio of full practices during Week 8 prep, but he's not quite ready to return from IR, so his next opportunity to play is Week 9 against the Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 8.

#88WR Beaux Collins IRHip
Estimated return Nov 8 Updated

Collins (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers and will remain on injured reserve, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Collins isn't quite ready to make his 2026 regular-season debut despite logging a trio of full practices during Week 8 prep. He's been working through a hip injury since training camp, but his ability to practice without restrictions indicates that he's close to being cleared to play. Collins' next chance to play is Week 9 against the Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 8.

#98DT Anterio Thompson OutUndisclosed
Out for the season Updated

Thompson posted on social media this week that he was diagnosed with a genetic mutation on his spinal cord in early May and indicated that he was told he will "never play football again," Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.

It's an awful situation for Thompson, who had been set for a chance to play in the NFL after being selected by the Falcons in the sixth round of April's draft. Atlanta has not said much about Thompson, who currently resides on the team's reserve/non-football injury list.

#72OT Michael Jerrell IRBiceps
Estimated return Nov 29 Updated

The Falcons placed Jerrell (biceps) on injured reserve Saturday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.

Jerrell was already ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers due to a biceps injury. He's now required to miss at least four games, so the next time he's eligible to play is Week 12 against the Vikings on Sunday, Nov. 29. Jerrell's absence leaves the Falcons with less depth on the offensive line.

#90DT Da'Shawn Hand IRQuadriceps · Surgery
Out for the season Updated

The Falcons placed Hand (quadriceps) on injured reserve Wednesday, William McFadden of the team's official site reports.

Hand's move to injured reserve comes as no surprise since it was previously announced that he'd miss the remainder of the season due to a torn quadriceps suffered during the team's Week 1 loss to the Steelers. The 30-year-old played just seven defensive snaps and failed to log any stats before getting hurt and will now shift his focus to getting healthy for the 2027 campaign.

#40LB JD Bertrand IRUndisclosed
Estimated return Nov 15 Updated

The Falcons placed Bertrand (undisclosed) on injured reserve Monday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

The nature of Bertrand's injury is not clear, but the move to IR means the third-year pro will be forced to miss at least the first four games of the regular season, making Week 5 against the Ravens on Sunday, Oct. 11 the earliest he can return. He logged 35 tackles (13 solo) and two pass defenses across 15 regular-season games in 2025, contributing both on defense and special teams.

#50LB DeAngelo Malone OutUndisclosed
Out for the season Updated

The Falcons placed Malone (undisclosed) on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

Malone was initially placed on the active/PUP list this past Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury. Now that he's on the reserve/PUP, Malone will be required to miss the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Falcons. He appeared in nine regular-season games for Atlanta last year and finished with eight tackles (two solo) and one interception.

#14WR Olamide Zaccheaus Cleared
Updated

Zaccheaus (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Zaccheaus didn't play in the Week 7 meeting with the 49ers due to a shoulder injury. He was limited during practice throughout the week, though it wasn't enough to avoid a questionable designation for Sunday's divisional clash with Tampa Bay. While the wideout was in danger of missing this contest, he will avoid a second consecutive absence. Zaccheaus has only four catches (11 targets) for 17 yards in six regular-season games in 2026. He also holds a role on special teams as a return man.

#12CB Avieon Terrell Cleared
Updated

Terrell (back/illness) is active for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.

Terrell didn't play in Week 8 versus the 49ers, his first absence of the 2026 campaign. He practiced in a limited capacity during the week but still couldn't avoid a questionable designation for the divisional meeting with the Buccaneers. However, Terrell now has the green light to return from the one-game layoff, which will likely result in less work for C.J. Henderson (groin) and Mike Ford.

#24CB A.J. Terrell Jr. Cleared
Updated

Terrell (groin) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

Terrell's practice reps Thursday were limited due to a groin injury that caused him to miss four games on injured reserve before returning for Week 7 against the 49ers. He was a full participant in Friday's practice, which was enough for him to avoid an injury tag for Sunday's contest. Terrell logged five tackles (one solo) and one pass defense in a 29-20 win over San Francisco.

#26CB C.J. Henderson Cleared
Updated

Henderson (groin) does not have an injury designation against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

Henderson was downgraded to a limited practice participant Thursday while tending to a groin injury, but his ability to practice in full Friday was enough for him to fade an injury tag ahead of Sunday's NFC South showdown. He's registered 31 tackles (27 solo), eight pass defenses, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery through six regular-season games.

#53LB Kendal Daniels Cleared
Updated

Daniels (Achilles) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

Daniels popped up on Thursday's practice report as a limited participant due to an Achilles injury, but he was able to avoid an injury designation for Week 8 after logging a full session Friday. The rookie fourth-rounder has logged at least seven combined tackles in each of his last three outings, and through seven regular-season games he has accumulated 40 tackles (31 solo), including 1.0 sacks, two pass defenses (including one interception) and one fumble recovery.

#31S Xavier Watts Cleared
Updated

Watts notched seven tackles (three solo) and forced a fumble Sunday in a 29-20 Week 7 victory against the 49ers.

Watts missed just three defensive snaps, as he continues to be a key part of Atlanta's secondary. The second-year safety has posted seven or more tackles in four of his seven games so far this season and leads the Falcons with 44 tackles (including 0.5 sacks). He also has two defensed passes, including an interception.

#3S Jessie Bates III Cleared
Updated

Bates registered nine tackles (two solo), two defensed passes (including an interception) and one forced fumble Sunday in a 29-20 victory over San Francisco.

Bates contributed in multiple ways during a big day for Atlanta's defense. He finished tied for second on the team with nine stops and picked off Brock Purdy midway through the third quarter as San Francisco was approaching the red zone. For good measure, Bates sealed the win by forcing a George Kittle fumble with less than a minute remaining in the contest. Bates' nine stops were a season high, and the interception was his first of the campaign.

#56LB Harold Perkins Jr. Cleared
Updated

Perkins tallied nine tackles (four solo) in Sunday's 29-20 Week 7 win over the 49ers.

Perkins' tackle total was tied for second on Atlanta behind fellow rookie Kendal Daniels. Perkins finished with his second-highest number of stops so far, trailing only the 10 tackles he recorded Week 4 in New Orleans. Perkins made his first NFL start Sunday, as Divine Deablo was sidelined due to a forearm injury.
